On our first disc,"The Best of What's New," I used a mid-eighties Fender Japanese made Stratocaster that I purchased new back in the day for everything except "Slip Away" on which I used my 1974 Les Paul for a nice clean sound.

Guitar tips and musings from the one and only Jerry Mihay- As this picture demonstrates, I am outside and it was hot as blazes. The Les Paul I am playing did everything well despite the heat. On the contrary, the Strat I played earlier did not do well with the heat.
